Haunted Half Marathon

I haven't run since the marathon, but I had a 1/2 marathon already scheduled for today  (probably should have run).  I was doing this half with my brother Cole, and then last minute my friend Erin and Cole's friend John signed up so we had company.  The race was a lot of fun.  We didn't dress up (we were totally in the minority).  There was so great costumes, but the thought of running 13.1 in a costume just didn't appeal to me.  But I love to people watch and I could get away with it since people in costume wanted you to check them out.
The race didn't start till 9AM and you started up Emigration Canyon.  We ran down and ended up in Memory Grove right below the Capital Building.  I was shooting for 2 hours, but a cupcake I ate at mile 6 haunted me at mile 12 and I had to stop to use the "Scary Potty" and finished in 2 hour 5 min.  I will take it! Its 2 min off my Park City Half from a few months ago.  Plus Stu, Hannah and Blue were at the end waiting for me (along with Erin and Cole). Over all, super fun race and one I would do again.
