Easter

What a beautiful day Easter Sunday was.  Hannah was beautiful in the Easter dress Grandma Nicholls got for her.  And she got to find more eggs around the house that the Easter Bunny left.  Plus the fun gifts she got in her Easter basket.  What a fun day.
Since we have 1 o'clock church and it so hard with Hannah's nap at 1, we went to church with some of friends.  Hannah and Lily did such a great job during sacrament and thanks to Stacie who supplied Hannah with some food (since it was right during lunch).
Later that night we had Easter dinner at the Reeder's and our annual Easter Egg hunt, were the adults look for eggs with $$ in them.  I walked away with $15 and Stu walked about with $18.  Not to bad.

1st Easter Egg Hunt

Hannah was invited to my BFF's neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt.  There were so many kids, but they divide up the yards into age groups to ensure all the kids got eggs and were not fighting against the bigger kids.  We gave a dozen eggs for the hunt, so Hannah got to find a dozen eggs.  She kept finding more, and we would just put them back so the other kids could have some.  With the amount of candy she has already gotten this year, I wish I would have put toys or $ in our eggs.  When we opened up the eggs to see what she got, she actually got 50 cents in one egg.  She was so excited to put the money in her piggy bank.  I think that was a great idea to put $ instead of candy in the eggs.
The Easter Bunny also was there.  Hannah was scared and intrigued by the Easter Bunny.  She didn't want to get close, but she didn't want others to be by him either.  She finally got close enough and when he held out his hand, she pet it like it was Blue or another animal.  It was cute.  She was giving him 5 and "knuckles".  When we finally left the hunt, she stuck out her bum and pursed her lips and gave him a kiss on his hand.  It was pretty cute.  Wish we had a picture of that one.

And it goes round..and round...

Our dear friends Ryan and Stacie have little miss Lily who is only 5 months older than Hannah and since they are both older, its fun to get together and let the girls play.  On Saturday we decided to hit up mall (South Town Mall) to ride the carousel and train.  I think the girls had a blast.  I on the other hand got quite sick going around..and around..and around.

New Car

Stu got his new company car today.  Well..he got the long term rental till his car is available, but a new car is a new car.  He was pretty excited because he is still driving the 1st car he ever bought, a 1997 Toyota Tercel.  He was kinda misty eyed as he cleaned out the car and got it ready to sell to a co-worker of his.  A lot of good memories in that car.

St. Patricks Day

Leah asked me before she came if she could have a date with Hannah on St. Patrick's Day.  I told her of course. She supplied Hannah with an outfit to make the day special and she planned on taking her to the park to feed to ducks and follow up with some lunch before her nap.  The days leading up to 3/17 were nice and then the morning of St. Patty's day...COLD and RAINY.  Boooo!  So she skipped the ducks and invited Uncle Coleman, Stu and I to join their date and we went to lunch at Sweet Tomatoes.  It was a fun day even if Hannah was not a happy camper with her cold and stepped in dog poo right before we left.

Mummies of the World

Since Leah was still in town-Coleman, Leah, Stu and I all decided to check out this awesome exhibit that is at the Leonardo.  It was something to see I must admit.  They have a mummy there that was dated 6,500 years old.  CRAZY.  You can't take pictures, but Cole sneaked one in...it of the oldest one there.

19 Months Old

Hannah is on the go..all the time.  So to take a still shot of her for pictures, isn't easy.  We did the best we could with her 19 month pictures.

*Has figured out how to go up and down the curbs and thinks she is pretty hot stuff
*Got her 1st cold
*Interested in coloring (instead of just holding the pencils in her hands)

4 Generation Hands

I got this idea from an email and since we were all together for the family reunion we captured my side of the family.  We got Stu's side a few months ago

Family Reunion

My Grandpa was diagnosed with stomach cancer and with Leah being in town we decided to get together as a family to..just be together.  We all met in Grand Junction (half way for us all) and spent the weekend together.  Stu and I rented a van to take us + Hannah and my 3 siblings to Grand Junction.  The van we rented..super nice.  I see why van's are a staple in Utah.  All the room..it was so nice.  My grandparents were excited to see everyone, but more excited to see the 3 great grand kids.

Hannah of course woke up the day of the trip to a cold, but she did fairly well traveling.  The weather was nice up until we arrived and then it was cold, rainy and snowy.  We took a trip to the local dinosaur museum to get the kids out of the hotel.  Later we hit Easter eggs down the hallway and let the kids gather them up.  It was fun to see my cousins I only see every few years.

The house is on the market

We met with our realtor about putting the house on the market and we got a 2 week time frame to 'pre-pack' and clean before the house goes on the market.  We rented a bigger storage unit to hold all the stuff we don't really need and all the extra furniture we have.  We need to make this place look BIG.  We hired a cleaning crew to clean up and...it paid off.  The house is on the market!  If you know of anyone looking to move into good old West Valley City!  Tell them to check out our place!   CLICK HERE
Since I am not on Facebook and only blog, be sure to keep checking our blog since this is how I will keep in contact with all my family and friends.

She is back!

Leah is back.  She finished her tour in Afghanistan and is back visiting family.  We couldn't be more happy to see her smiling face!

Hannah wasn't quite sure what to think when she saw her.  Last time she saw her Hannah was only 11 months old.  I think she 'remembered' her but couldn't quite place her.
