Halloween 2014

My daughter joined the ranks of millions by being Elsa for Halloween.  We decided to make Abi Olaf.  They were a cute pair (thanks to my mom's amazing sewing skills).  Hannah once again enjoyed handing out candy more than getting it (which suited me just fine).  Overall...it was a fun night for the girls.

He is another year older

Stu's 32nd birthday was Sunday.  We decided to go home to Reno on the 27th so we didn't have to travel on Stu's birthday.  He told me he wanted a massage for his birthday.  Finding a place open on Sunday in Utah for a massage..next to impossible.  I did find a place and boy oh boy.  It was one of the best massages we have EVER had.  Check them out!  
Blue Water Body Works

We had the Reeder family dinner and opened gifts and enjoyed the company of everyone.  Sunday's birthday's are harder but we still had a great time.

Black Out Game

I finally made it to my first Utah game of the season.  It was a late game (8PM) and I didn't get there till 9PM because I put the girls to bed for my in laws who were watching them.  I was pretty tired from the day.  Getting up early to run the half marathon, and it was go go go go all day.  But this game was to celebrate Stu's birthday.  The Utes didn't disappoint.  It was a great game and they WON.  So glad I was able to go!

Haunted Half

Running (although I am not a huge fan) does good thing for my body.  I decided to sign up for a race to help motivate me to run (it kinda worked).  There was a race the Saturday we were in Salt Lake so I talked my brother into running it with me.
A few weeks before the race I got a call from Liz my running buddy and as we were  catching up on our lives I mentioned I was running this race.  Liz works every Saturday but it just so happens the gym was closed the Saturday of the race and she decided to sign up.  HOLLAR!
The race was awesome.  We ran through the Provo Canyon and on running trails.  Liz's super fast sister Erin took off and Cole my brother also took off.  Liz and I ran together.  I had no expectations and was just excited to be running again with my running buddy.  We ended up talking for 10 miles.  They flew by!  We came in at 2:22 which I was happy with.  When you go in with no exceptions you are always pleasantly surprised by the outcome.
It was so nice to fun with these fine kids!!

You do it where you can..

We finally made it back to SLC for the Utah game and Stu's birthday.  Stu was flying in later Friday night and the girls and I made the trek across the state by ourselves the day before.  I decided a few months ago to run the Haunted Half Marathon and I needed to pick up our packets in Orem.  As we were at the mall picking up the packets Hannah had to use the restroom and Abi needed to eat.  It just so happens the mall had a "Family Bathroom", which has a big potty and little potty and a place to chance you little one on the counter.  Hannah did her business and since I really didn't have a place to feed Abi we all climbed up on the counter so I could feed Abi.  You do it where you can..

Blue the best friend

Hannah has a built in best friend (until Abi is old enough to be the built in best friend).  It is Blue.  She orders him around and makes him sit by her while she plays.  I feel bad for him most the time.  She gets very bossy and precises on what she wants him to do.  Most the time she wants to cover him up and she wants him to lie his head down on the pillow.  She cracks me up.

Hannah is very particular with how things need to lined up and most of the items start with where the dog is at

Abi is my chunck.  She is 4 months and 16.5 lbs.  I love all the rolls she sports!!

Getting so big

Abi is getting so big.  She isn't content to be on the floor anymore. She now is in her activity chair and bumbo seat.

We still swaddle Abi and when we 'undo' her in the morning she stretches and makes the most adorable face.

Month 4

Our sweet Abi is already 4 months old.  She is growing so big and I truly wish the time would stop.

Here is what we learned about her this last month:

*Started chewing on fists

*Laughed for the 1st time

*Discovered her hands and likes to look at them

*Drools all the time

*Would rather have fist or fingers instead of her binky

*Rubs her feet together

*Rolled from back to tummy

*Is very ticklish

Book Club

I have joined our local book club.  I was FINALLY able to go to this months and the book was AMAZING.  They are making a movie of it, but the book is always better.  If you haven't read it...DO IT.  Its soo good.
