I was trying to have everything ready for Father's Day before Abi arrived. My parents were leaving the next day (who wants to travel on Father's Day) so I made Stu's favorite meal. I stayed home from church and cooked while everyone else went to church. I think the meal turned out pretty nice (I cooked breakfast too). Hopefully Stu had a good Father's Day with the new addition of miss Abi.
With Stu's little sister set to deliver soon, Stu's parents were not able to come out to meet Abigail. So imagine my surprise when they arrived on Saturday to surprise us. I have never been so surprised, I had to pick my mouth off the floor when I saw them. It was such a fast trip for them, but it meant so much that they wanted to meet their newest granddaughter. They were kind enough to bring a build a bear bear for Hannah and she LOVED it.
With a C section you have to stay longer in the hospital. Luckily that was only 3 days. Abi was born on Wednesday and we got to go home on Saturday. She was such a small thing, that the outfit I got for her just about drowned her out.
My parents came from out of town to be with Hannah while I was in the hospital. I was so grateful to have them with her so that I could focus on Abigail and my recovery. I told all the parents that we were going to be on "technology lock down" for a few hours after her birth. We would have time to send the text, emails and Facebook posts later. I wanted a few hours with just Stu and my baby. After our lock down I headed to my room and we got pictures of Hannah meeting Abigail from our birth photographer (again check back later to see those). But here are the few we got with our camera:
I hired a birth photographer before I found out I would have to have a C section. And even though she was not allowed in the OR, we got some before and after picture (check back at a later time to see them). Stu was able to take our camera in the OR and take pictures. I was so nervous about getting a c section all the way up to when it happened. It was terrible, but definitely not something I want to do again. Miss Abigail Kara Reeder was born June 4, 2014 at 12:34PM Here are the pictures of what Stu got from her delivery-
Today is the day. We are schedule for our C section at noon. Before we left I wanted to get some pictures. And yes we all wore pink in honor of our new baby.
A amour..Love. Stuart and Sarah met in April 2006 at church. After Stu broke up with the girl he was dating, Sarah moved right in and they have been together ever since. They were engaged on August 4th 2006 and married in the Salt Lake Temple on January 3rd 2007. In November of 2007 Blue joined our family. Since then we have enjoyed the pleasure of puppyhood that only a dog can bring! Little Miss Hannah joined the group on August 11th and having her in our home, completes the Reeder Circle!
