Baby Moon

Stu and I decided to take a "Babymoon" before little Hannah arrives. We originally were going to go the first part of June, but I got sick so we postponed till the end of June. We could not go anywhere far due to saving some $$- so we got a night at the St. Regis Hotel in Deer Valley. Oh boy...was it nice!!! We went up Friday night and stayed till Saturday. Since we valet our car they have shuttles that can take you into Park City. Their "shuttles" were Black Cadillac Escalates. VERY NICE!! Stu and I ate at our favorite restaurant-Ruth's Chris and took a stroll into Park City before heading back to the hotel. Stu told me "I could use to this"(staying in nice hotel) He loved the fact that every time he called down to the desk to ask questions they would say "How can we help the Reeder's this evening"

The front of the hotel. You park your car on the other side and ride a gondola up to the hotel and then you take the 'shuttle' to your destinations. You only see this view when you leave in your car OR when you come back in the shuttle.

I took a dip in the tub. They had a TV in the mirror in the bathroom. I liked how the blinds allowed me to talk to Stu while I soaked in the tub

Stu LOVED that his name appeared on the TV when he turned it on

Ragnar

Stu got to run Ragnar this year for a fellow 'family member' who was also pregnant and could not run. He has been ROCK'N it with running and so the group gave him the hardest legs. He of course KNOCKED it out of the ball park. The weather was great, and I decided that I would go to the finish line in Park City to see him. I decided to take Blue with me and we had an adventure. We made it to the finish line and got to see Stu and the group. It was fun to be there at the end and to see Stu and bring him home. We got the below 'family picture' at the finish line.

33 Weeks

The weeks are flying by and time is picking up speed. We have 7 weeks left. The belly is growing and our little miss is getting stronger! Below is me at 33 weeks. I look TERRIBLE because we needed to get the picture taken before Stu left for Ragnar and I just woke up.

Friends Shower

My BFF Kristie put on a friend shower for me and she (and the crew) knocked it out of the park. Below are some pictures from the shower. Thank you to all those that came, I appreciate you all!

Of course..

Of course...once you start doing home improvements you find things that are 'broken'. As we pulled up the carpet in the downstairs to make room for the laminate flooring we came to find out that one of our baseboards was 'not quite right'. We always knew this section of baseboard had its own problems. But we never knew the full extent of the problem.
When we pulled up the baseboard we found out there was mold growing under it. We found out the sprinkler system that was on the other side of the wall (which was the outside wall) had been creating a pool of water when it came on and that water was seeping into our house. So this problem has been going on since we moved in 4 years ago, but has probably been going on since the condo was built 6 years ago. AUGH!! We probably never would have found the extent of this problem if we had not decided to put up new baseboards with the new floors. Now we are in the process of getting the HOA board to pay for the damage. This will most likely require them going in and re-do sheet rock and the works. Of course, this problem would happen as we try to make our house nicer...at least we found out now and not when we try to sell in a few years.

See the wet tackboard and the gross baseboard (Stu has started to pull it away from the wall, it was not like this when we had carpet)
Can you see the mold on the wall and the floor right by the wall. GROSS

Its time...

Its time to go private for the blog. With the new addition coming I want to be sure I know who is looking at what on our blog. I struggled with this for quite some time because I am a blog stalker and I HATE when they are protected and I can't view them anymore. But..I must do right by the Little Miss.
Please send me your email address, if you feel like I don't have you in my yahoo contacts. I will be going through that for the set up and if you stalk my blog but are not sure if I have your email address, post it on the comments or send me an email to:
princesarah24@yahoo.com

Sorry to all those stalkers!

Going private on June 20th

Home Improvements continue...

As we continue to upgrade our house in the process of getting ready for a baby (I don't recommend doing both, home improvment and baby improvements). We got carpet installed in our house and Stu put in a laminate wood floor in our living room where carpet use to be. The old carpet was that cheap stuff that contractors put in for the condos. Cheap and light!

We are just now putting up the baseboards and doing touch up painting to the walls. We need to decorate the baby's room and then finally put the same laminate floors in the office. Take a look, we feel like we are in a new house. Our room before the carpet
Our room after the carpet

This is the laminate floor Stu put in. Its touching our kitchen tile that Stu recently cleaned up (see previous blog entries)
