6 months old

Seriously...half a year is gone? My little baby is 6 months old today. Time does fly by and I am so glad I took her monthly pictures so I can see how much she has changed in these last few months.

Here a few things about Hannah that we learned over the last month:

*She rolled from her stomach to her back

*Cut her first tooth (lower left)
*Isn't sleeping very good
*Loves to laugh
*LOVES Blue (although he doesn't care much for her, he just ignores her)
*So grabby
*Loves having mom home with her all day long (or maybe its just mom that LOVES it)
*Holds onto her toes when she is on her back
*Cut second tooth (lower right)
*Has taken to sucking right thumb (but mom and dad don't let her)
*Mimics coughs
*Squeals like a dinosaur

Nicknames:
Hannah sorus rex (given by her dad)

A picture a day

For 2012 I have decided to make a collection of photos and take a picture a day. This was quite the challenge at the beginning, but now...I find all kind of things to take pictures of. It has been so much fun. I got the idea from a new blog I have been following: Simply KellyB and the idea is Bingo Photo Journal and its been so much fun. Here are just a few pictures I have taken so far this year:

5 K in the rain

Today we ran our last 5K to qualify for the St. George Marathon. Because I was not prepared to run a 1/2 yet (Stu was ready) we stuck to the 5K. I was shooting to just finish, but Stu was ready to run and he came in 3rd in his age division. I was so proud of him! We actually had Erin and Rachel that got 1st in their age division (Erin was in my group, she was first and I was 22nd over all). The only crappy thing was that it RAINed. Can you believe it. The weather the day before was sun and 60 and then we wake up to rain. Luckily it was only 3 miles, but still , running in the cold rain-SUCKS.

5 months old

Hannah's pictures were taken in her crib since she is now sleeping there. Let me explain why we are just NOW getting her into the crib. A co-worker of Stu's let us borrow their "Taco" (that is what we call it) and Hannah has been sleeping in it since she was a few weeks old. It is amazing, but she is getting too big so we needed to move her to her crib for safety reasons.
Transitioning her from the taco to the crib has been a challenge. I think it because it is something new and she is possibly teething. Not a good combination.

Here are a few things about Hannah we learned this month:

*She took her first shower with daddy and seemed to enjoy it. But she loves bath's much more
*She can roll up on her side and is SOOO close to rolling over
*Her hair is growing back and it is getting lighter as it comes in
*She is a people watcher just like her mom
*She has started to suck on her lower lip (I am pretty sure it is because she is teething)
*She got to meet her Aunt Leah for the first time when she came home from Military leave

1st Taste of Cereal

We decided to try little Miss on some rice cereal. She has been very interested in watching us eat and that is one sign she might be ready. Also solid foods can help with longer sleeping time at night...

I am done!

I am officially done working and am a stay at home mom. Leaving the 'working' world was bitter sweet, I have never left a job or company I actually loved. I will miss the job, company and the people, but I am super excited to be at home with Hannah!

Our Family Pictures

We decided to get family pictures for our Christmas Cards this year. We picked a clear Saturday day and boy was it cold outside. We had to take a few pictures, and run into our friends house to get Hannah warm. In addition to our Christmas card, here are some of my favorites--
