Leah asked me before she came if she could have a date with Hannah on St. Patrick's Day. I told her of course. She supplied Hannah with an outfit to make the day special and she planned on taking her to the park to feed to ducks and follow up with some lunch before her nap. The days leading up to 3/17 were nice and then the morning of St. Patty's day...COLD and RAINY. Boooo! So she skipped the ducks and invited Uncle Coleman, Stu and I to join their date and we went to lunch at Sweet Tomatoes. It was a fun day even if Hannah was not a happy camper with her cold and stepped in dog poo right before we left. Since Leah was still in town-Coleman, Leah, Stu and I all decided to check out this awesome exhibit that is at the Leonardo. It was something to see I must admit. They have a mummy there that was dated 6,500 years old. CRAZY. You can't take pictures, but Cole sneaked one in...it of the oldest one there. Mummies of the World
Hannah is on the go..all the time. So to take a still shot of her for pictures, isn't easy. We did the best we could with her 19 month pictures. *Hannah has learned to stab food with her fork and she gets better each day *Climbs the stairs (not crawling) and will use your finger to go down *Loves to run between the front room and living room laughing, she will do this for 15-20 minutes *Has figured out how to go up and down the curbs and thinks she is pretty hot stuff *Got her 1st cold *Interested in coloring (instead of just holding the pencils in her hands)
I got this idea from an email and since we were all together for the family reunion we captured my side of the family. We got Stu's side a few months ago
Stu's grandmother, Stu's dad, Stu and Hannah's hands
Sarah's grandma, Sarah's mom, Sarah and Hannah's hands
My Grandpa was diagnosed with stomach cancer and with Leah being in town we decided to get together as a family to..just be together. We all met in Grand Junction (half way for us all) and spent the weekend together. Stu and I rented a van to take us + Hannah and my 3 siblings to Grand Junction. The van we rented..super nice. I see why van's are a staple in Utah. All the room..it was so nice. My grandparents were excited to see everyone, but more excited to see the 3 great grand kids.
Hannah of course woke up the day of the trip to a cold, but she did fairly well traveling. The weather was nice up until we arrived and then it was cold, rainy and snowy. We took a trip to the local dinosaur museum to get the kids out of the hotel. Later we hit Easter eggs down the hallway and let the kids gather them up. It was fun to see my cousins I only see every few years. The gang in the back seat on our way to Grand Junction Hannah with my cousins son Lucas. We met with our realtor about putting the house on the market and we got a 2 week time frame to 'pre-pack' and clean before the house goes on the market. We rented a bigger storage unit to hold all the stuff we don't really need and all the extra furniture we have. We need to make this place look BIG. We hired a cleaning crew to clean up and...it paid off. The house is on the market! If you know of anyone looking to move into good old West Valley City! Tell them to check out our place! Leah is back. She finished her tour in Afghanistan and is back visiting family. We couldn't be more happy to see her smiling face!
Hannah wasn't quite sure what to think when she saw her. Last time she saw her Hannah was only 11 months old. I think she 'remembered' her but couldn't quite place her.
A amour..Love. Stuart and Sarah met in April 2006 at church. After Stu broke up with the girl he was dating, Sarah moved right in and they have been together ever since. They were engaged on August 4th 2006 and married in the Salt Lake Temple on January 3rd 2007. In November of 2007 Blue joined our family. Since then we have enjoyed the pleasure of puppyhood that only a dog can bring! Little Miss Hannah joined the group on August 11th and having her in our home, completes the Reeder Circle!
