Easter-2012

Since our church is smack in the middle of Hannah's nap time, we usually only make it for sacrament. Of course on Easter Sunday she decided she was not going to take any naps and we struggled to get her down before sacrament. She ended up taking a short nap, but we had family things to do later so she was a bit cranky. You can see in her Easter pictures, not a happy girl. Not only was she tired, but she does seem to like the grass much either.

Coupon Clipping

I have become a coupon clipper to help us save some cash. I am not an extreme clipper (like those you see on TV), but I get where the rush can come from when you throw down those coupons on BOGO (Buy One Get One) free items. One of the sites I frequent the most (aside from the Sunday paper ads) is Freebies 2 Deals. Take a look at what I got at Walgreens for $15!!!

I love cookies

Hannah LOVES cookies (what kid doesn't)? She got her first taste of the Gerber cookies and LOVES them.

7 months old

Hannah just turned 7 months old and she is growing so quick! She has done so many things since last month. She is not crawling yet (I am kinda glad, once she is mobile there is no going back). Here are some other things about Hannah since she turned a month old-

*Reaches for her toes and puts them in her mouth
*Pats everything when she is tired
*Makes Da Da and Ma Ma sounds (Stu thinks she said Da Da first but I told him it doesn't count since she doesn't know what she is saying)
*Sips from her sippy cup
*Loves carrots and avocado
*Laughs when we play peek a boo
*Sits all by herself (but doesn't know how to sit up if she falls over yet)
*Still does NOT like tummy time, she will roll over to her back in about 2 seconds
*Has a temper when she doesn't get her way

Nicknames:
Baby, Babes (Stu will sing Justin Bieber's "Baby" song to her, it has a catchy tune so it stays in your head)

Temper, Temper!

I did it..

I have wanted to cut my hair and donate it to Locks Of Love for quite some time and today...I did. I was able to cut off the 10 inches needed and I never felt so 'light'. All that weight of the extra hair really 'weighted' me down. It was so nice to be free...

6 months old

Seriously...half a year is gone? My little baby is 6 months old today. Time does fly by and I am so glad I took her monthly pictures so I can see how much she has changed in these last few months.

Here a few things about Hannah that we learned over the last month:

*She rolled from her stomach to her back
*Cut her first tooth (lower left)
*Isn't sleeping very good
*Loves to laugh
*LOVES Blue (although he doesn't care much for her, he just ignores her)
*So grabby
*Loves having mom home with her all day long (or maybe its just mom that LOVES it)
*Holds onto her toes when she is on her back
*Cut second tooth (lower right)
*Has taken to sucking right thumb (but mom and dad don't let her)
*Mimics coughs
*Squeals like a dinosaur

Nicknames:
Hannah sorus rex (given by her dad)

A picture a day

For 2012 I have decided to make a collection of photos and take a picture a day. This was quite the challenge at the beginning, but now...I find all kind of things to take pictures of. It has been so much fun. I got the idea from a new blog I have been following: Simply KellyB and the idea is Bingo Photo Journal and its been so much fun.
